Hillary Clinton to visit Iowa State on Tuesday

2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will return to Ames on Tuesday for an organizing event on the campus of Iowa State.

WHEN: Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 10:00 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.

Clinton has kept a small lead over challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders, who is challenging for the Democratic nomination. An average of polls from Real Clear Politics has Clinton with 49.8 percent and Sanders at 37 percent.

During her latest trip to Iowa, Clinton will hold organizing events in Waterloo and Dubuque. She’ll also attend the Brown and Black Forum at Drake University with Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
