ISU wrestling lost to Oklahoma 29-8 Friday night in Norman, Okla.

The Cyclones started off slow and couldn’t recover. No. 9 Earl Hall fell to No. 4 Cody Brewer by a 12-4 major decision at 133-pounds following Kyle Larson’s loss at 125-pounds.

John Meeks dropped his match at 141-pounds. At 149-pounds No. 20 Gabe Moreno was pinned in 3:32 to make the team score 16-0 in favor of the Sooners.

Ronaldo Rodriguez-Spencer and Tanner Weatherman got things turned around briefly for the Cyclones. Rodriguez-Spencer won his match by decision, 10-8 and No. 10 Weatherman upset No. 8 Clark Glass 6-2 at 165-pounds.

Lelund Weatherspoon and Dane Pestano both lost their matches by decision. Marcus Harrington won his match at 197-pounds 3-2.

To finish things off Quean Smith got pinned in 2:53 to No. 16 Ross Larson.
