Gladis Hefty has returned to Iowa State. The persona, thought to be former Iowa State linebacker Jared Brackens, sang and danced outside of Parks Library. Gladis was drawing attention to a raffle for a gift card. Students could win a $50 Visa gift card to Starbucks or Target. “I’m just out here because I want to make people smile,”Gladis said. “You have a test today? I made you happy, now you’re ready to get an ‘A.’”
