  • Steve Prohm is the 20th head coach at Iowa State in mens basketball history
  • Prohm has 17 years of experience coaching college basketball at 4 schools. (Centenary, Southeastern Louisiana, Tulane, Murray State)
  • In 2014/15 Prohm coached one of the best seasons in MSU history 
  • In 2012 he was named basketball coach of the year by the Basketball Times.
  • Prohm agreed to a contract with a base salary of $1.5 million.
