Apple Catch Game – This is a really fun game for all ages, and may seem quite simple, but it is harder than it seems! Tie apples to strings and then have the strings hanging down from a tree branch. (Adjust the height for the height of the players) The goal of this game is to try and take a bite of the apple without touching the apple with their hands.

Candy Corn Relay –  Players try to transfer candy corn from a large bowl to a small bowl, the catch is that you can only use chopsticks. The first player to transfer all their candy corn in the small bowl wins.

Capture the Pumpkin – This game is played just like capture the flag, but instead of a flag you use a large pumpkin.

Leaf Blower – The players get one leaf and one drinking straw. The object of this game is to see who can move their leaf across the table the fastest by using the straw to blow air on the leaf.

Thanksgiving Theme Scavenger Hunt – This is a fun activity for all ages! You search for the items on this scavenger list.

A Game of Pick Up Football – Go outside and get some fresh air and exercise before the big meal.

Charades – Waiting for the thanksgiving food to be served? It doesn’t matter what age you are everyone loves this game.

Take a Walk Outside – This is a good break of fresh air that won’t make you feel so guilty about all the Thanksgiving food you ate/ will eat.

Thanksgiving Trivia – This is a fun game that you can play every year and each year as your family gets better at this you can make the questions harder. Click this link to start you off with your first year of Thanksgiving trivial facts.

Thankful Cards – This is a great opportunity to make someone feel good. Put all of the guests names in a jar and everyone picks out a name. Then write a card to that person telling them why you are thankful for them.

Volunteer at a Food Pantry – What’s a better way to give back to your community and reflect on everything you are thankful for than to make a trip to your local food pantry and serve others who are less fortunate than you.
