The click into the app that allows you to obsess over the lives of friends, celebrities, and the few random people that you follow because you simply want their life. Pictures can be deceiving, and the insta lens lets you transform the look of your world completely in the click of one filter. Instagram is very good at creating unrealistic perceptions of our peers. It is where you can take an ordinary life and turn it into a glamorous life that will make others envious. 

However, the best part of Instagram is that you can be whoever you want to be by just changing the lighting, angle, filter, or scenery. 

Lets recap on our seven favorite types of instagram accounts: 

1. The sorority girl: A group of girls that are huddled together in matching t-shirts or the same color dress. They are most often seen in a sorority girl squat with perfect long hair that always looks amazing. 
2. The hipster: They are usually posed as if they are in deep thought and they often have a coffee in their hand.
3. The fitness model: We all have that one friend who one day decided that they are now a nutritionist/personal trainer/fitness guru. There photos include hashtags such as: #nodaysoff, #healthyeating or #gainz. 
4. The candid: Often seen in photos where they are laughing or they happen to not realize that they are in.
5. The foodie: These people are known for taking pictures of almost every meal they have. Roughly 85 percent of the time it will include sushi. 
6. The daredevil/ adventure seeker: This is the one person who seems to be visiting a new place every week. They are often taking pictures of the ocean or at the edge of a mountain that looks like the size of Mount Everest. There photos often include a creative caption that such as “live well travel often”. 
7. The famous selfie: A close up selfie image most likely taken before a night out. This may include an occasional duck face.
