No. 3 Cyclone Hockey beat No. 2 Lindenwood 1-0 to complete the weekend sweep of the Lions at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.

The Cyclones got the lone goal of the game late in the second period on a power play by co-captain Cory Sellers. The Lions had two penalties within four minutes of each other that led to the Sellers goal.

Goalie Matt Goedeke had an impressive performance stopping all of the Lions shots en route to his second shutout this season. The Lions elected to go with an empty net in the last minute of the game but the Cyclones were successful in preventing the goal.

The Lions swept the Ohio Bobcats last weekend who the Cyclones were swept by previously. The Cyclones will play the Augustana Vikings next weekend at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
