ISU soccer celebrates on beach after big win

After the ISU women’s soccer team’s win over No. 10 Pepperdine, it took some time to celebrate on the beach in California.
“We took that day [to celebrate],” said junior Koree Willer. “Afterwards, we were in California and we didn’t have a flight until later so we checked out the beach a little bit, hung out and ate a little food. That was awesome.”
But as soon as the Cyclones got back to Ames, Iowa, the mindset was back to business and the focus was on Colorado College.
Iowa State will take on Colorado College on Friday, Sept. 4 in Colorado Springs, Colo. and Colorado on Sunday, Sept. 6 in Boulder, Colo.
