Singer and songwriter Rachel Platten, canceled her Oct. 28 show due to a scheduling conflict, said Winston Stalvey, national events director of Student Union Board.

Student Union Board, the organization in charge of the event, was notified over a week ago by Platten’s scheduling agents.

Platten is known for her hit single, “Fight Song,” which was released last May and rose to the no. 6 spot on Billboard Hot 100. Platten recently released new single, “Stand By You” this September.

She is currently touring with Colbie Caillat and Christina Perri.
