Two former members of the ISU football team, Cory Morrissey and Tom Farniok, were signed to NFL teams following the 2015 NFL Draft on May 2.

Defensive end Morrissey and center Farniok were signed to the Baltimore Ravens and the Minnesota Vikings, respectively, according to each of their Twitter pages.

The announcements came just hours after no NFL team picked a player from Iowa State in the NFL Draft for the third time in the last six years.

Morrissey was named a honorable mention to the All-Big 12 team in 2014 after he led all linemen in tackles with 51. The former ISU co-captain also led the team with six sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss.

Morrissey came in as a sophomore transfer and played alongside Jake Knott and A.J. Klein, who are two of the best linemen in ISU history.

Farniok was also named a honorable mention to the 2014 All-Big 12 team. He started all 12 games at center for the Cyclones and participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in 2015.

Farniok started his career at Iowa State as a redshirt freshman, which helped him start 47 games in his ISU career.

Former ISU tight end E.J. Bibbs, another player that was rumored to be drafted, has not signed with a team as of May 2 after going undrafted.
