Grandmaster Flash is one of the many groups scheduled to perform at Maximum Ames Music Festival on September 10-13.

Maximum Ames announced its full lineup for the fifth annual music festival September 10-13. The list featured artists such as The Mountain Goats and Grandmaster Flash. 

This annual celebration of the arts showcases renowned artists as well as pure Iowa talent spanning a wide range of genres. The four-day, fully walkable festival will feature more than 100 acts performing rock, folk, punk, hip-hop, pop, reggae, EDM and more. Festival attendees can easily walk through the festival’s dozen venues located within a three-block radius of historic Downtown Ames.
