Unified Butterfly Recorder App Tutorial

Location: Reiman Gardens

Time: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Cost: Preregistration is required. Free for members and volunteers. Free with admission for the general public.

Description: The Unified Butterfly Recorder (UBR) is a handheld device app that allows butterfly researchers & enthusiasts to efficiently record butterfly sighting data. Join the entomology staff to learn more about the app, which automatically collects weather, location & timestamps of sightings by selecting a butterfly from an editable list of species.

Description: An Immersive Laser Installation by Dan Corson will be open for extended hours. You have never seen anything like this on campus. Bring your friends to experience and enjoy Corson’s light and laser filled environment.

Professional and Scientific Council Meet and Greet

Time: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: Harl Commons, Curtiss Hall

Cost: Free

Description: The Professional and Scientific Council is hosting a Meet and Greet reception for all P&S employees. Refreshments include ice cream from the Dairy Science Club, snacks from ISU Dining and a variety of door prizes. No preregistration is required.
