ISU men’s track competes at the Razorback Invitational

The ISU men’s track and field team finished the Razorback Invitational in eighth place with 43 points.

Redshirt junior Taylor Sanderson stood out for the Cyclones with his first place finish in the heptathlon. He also recorded a personal best with the score of 5,426. That score ranks Sanderson second on the all-time top 10 performers list.

Junior Jan Jeuschede also recorded a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 61-07.75, which put him in second place for the event.

Redshirt senior Cam Ostrowski cleared 7 feet and 1 inch in the high jump, which put him in first place for that event. With that height, he ranks No. 12 in the nation for the season.

Junior Brandon Wheat also came in first place in the mile run with a time of 4:09.98.

The Cyclones will head to Lincoln, Neb. for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Feb. 6.
