Travelocity Gnome to visit Iowa State
The official Travelocity Roaming Gnome paid a visit to the Iowa State Daily to face the hard questions about who he is and what brings him to Iowa. The Gnome tweeted out several days before the trip that he would be coming to Ames for ESPN College Game Day and was looking for a tour guide to show him around town. Stephen Koenigsfeld, senior in journalism and mass communication, showed the Gnome around the Iowa State Daily and Hamilton Hall. Look for the Gnome during the matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks on Jan. 17.

The Travelocity Gnome will be at Iowa State this weekend visiting for Gameday.
The gnome has asked to be shown around Iowa State and Ames via it’s Twitter page.
Students, faculty and residents can tweet at @RoamingGnome on Gameday with the hashtag #gnomeguide to show the gnome around campus and around Ames.
The gnome is already replying to offers on Twitter.
“@cyclonealley Psst I’m at ISU this weekend & need people to show me around. If any of you are up to it just tweet me places with #gnomeguide,” one reply said.
