Iowa State defeats Kansas State in conference opener

Iowa State defeated the Kansas Wildcats during their first conference opener on Jan. 3.  Iowa State saw the return of Sophomore guard Jadda Buckley after her injury. Iowa State is now 21-16 against Kansas State in Hilton Coliseum and improves to 14-5 in their Big 12 home openers under head coach Bill Fennelly and 11-8 in Big 12 openers. Iowa State defeated the Wildcats with a final score of 60-55.
