Cyclone Hockey narrowly lost 2-1 against the top-ranked Central States Collegiate Hockey League team the Lindenwood Lions in a shootout on Dec. 5 at the Lindenwood Ice Arena. Here are the three stars from the game:

1. Jake Wyne, Lion forward: Wyne scored the first goal of the game.

2 Scott Antonsen, Cyclone forward: Antonsen scored the goal to knot the game at one.

3. Matt Cooper, Cyclone goaltender: Cooper continued his dominance, stopping 40 of 41 shots and preserving a tie for his team to send it to a shootout

Cyclone Hockey will take on the Lindenwood Lions again at 4 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the Lindenwood Ice Arena.
