3 stars from Cyclone Hockey’s Nov. 21 win

Cyclone Hockey ended its five-game losing skid in American College Hockey Association play with a 5-2 win over the Colorado State Rams on Nov. 21 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.

Here are the three stars from the game.

1. Antti Helanto, Cyclone forward: Helanto tallied two points in the game. His first came in an assist to Matt Szpak and then he followed it up with a goal of his own early in the second period.

2. Zack Johnson, Cyclone forward: Johnson ended his five-game goalless streak by tallying a power-play goal early in the first period to put his team up by one.

3. J.P. Kascsak, Cyclone forward: Kascsak tallied three assists in the game.

Cyclone Hockey will hit the ice again for the chance to sweep at 8 p.m. on Nov. 22 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
