Cyclone Hockey grabbed the third game of its three-game weekend with a 4-0 victory against the Dakota College-Bottineau Lumberjacks Nov. 9 in Bottineau, N.D.

The first period mimicked the end of the Nov. 8 game against Minot State where the Cyclones scored two goals and controlled play. Goals from Jake Bruhn and Mark Wishman put the Cyclones up by two going into the first intermission. They outshot the Lumberjacks 17-6.

There was nothing going in the second period, but goaltender Derek Moser maintained a shutout, stopping all nine shots from the Lumberjacks.

That shutout bid would be complete after Moser saved all 23 shots he faced in the game. He was helped by two third-period power play goals from Matt Szpak and Scott Antonsen to secure a victory.

Cyclone Hockey takes on the Illinois Fighting Illini at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the University of Illinois Ice Arena.
