ISU men’s cross country finishes third at Big 12 Championships

Freshman Dan Curtis’ top-10 finish helped the Cyclones earn third place at the Big Championships. 

Curtis placed 10th overall with a time of 24:29.3. Curtis’ finish was the lone top-10 finisher for Iowa State. 

Senior Martin Coolidge was the second ISU runner to cross the finish line, finishing with a 24:35 time. 

Graduate Brian Biekert completed his first race of the season for the Cyclones, placing 37th overall. 

Iowa State will return to action again on Nov. 14, when they compete at the NCAA Midwest Regionals in Peoria, Ill.
