14 days and one big question remain until the ISU women’s cross country team competes in their final invitational of the season.

Who will earn the final spot on the team’s starting lineup for the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational on Oct. 17?

Barring any setbacks, junior Crystal Nelson, senior Katy Moen, sophomores Bethanie Brown and Perez Rotich, graduate student Margaret Connelly, and redshirt freshman Erin Hooker are expected to run at Wisconsin.

ISU head coach Andrea Grove-McDonough said the seventh spot is tight between redshirt junior Colleen Riley and redshirt sophomore Taylor McDowell.

“[McDowell] is likely to be at the least an alternate,” Grove-McDonough said. “[The Wisconsin Invitational] is up in the air right now.”
