The city of Ames celebrated the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence with a Big Bash at the Ames History Museum, where visitors could view World War I propaganda posters, a vintage car show, the “We the People of Ames” museum exhibit, and enjoy live music and food on July 3, 2026.
