The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association ranked Iowa State No. 9 in its week one national cross country poll.

The Cyclones sit in the same position in the national rankings as they began the season. They remain the highest ranked team in the Big 12.

Iowa State was ranked No. 1 in the week one Midwest rankings for the fourth consecutive week dating back to last season.

The team will have an opportunity to shake up the rankings Sept. 27 at the Roy Griak Invitational. The invitational will take place in Minneapolis at 12:20 p.m.
