A CVS Pharmacy will be coming to Campustown, Kingland Systems announced in a press release July 22.

The general store and pharmacy will be located at the corner of Welch Avenue and Lincoln Way, the previous location of Charlie Yokes.

For the first time in 20 years, Campustown will have a drugstore. CVS Pharmacy will be the anchor retail tenant in the 25,000-square-foot project, taking up 14,000 square feet and having three remaining suites ranging from 2,000 to 9,000 square feet for lease.

Kingland also announced that parking will be available for customers and that opening will be subject to the overall completion of the project. However, according to the press release, “an early 2016 opening is anticipated.”

Kingland released in its statement that 25,000 square feet of retail space will be up for grabs for four tenants, ranging from retail to food service options, although no details about possible tenants have been released.

“The addition of CVS Pharmacy to our project will provide a much needed service to the area and represents a critical aspect of the retail component of our project,” said Todd Rognes, president of Kingland Systems, in a press release.
