Formal Recruitment Down-Low

Welcome to Iowa State Greek life, this is what you will need to know about dressing to impress your possible homes for the next four years.

Day 1 & 2:

You are going to be provided with a “Greek” t-shirt that you will wear for these first two days, you should definitely try to dress up this shirt, were a cute pair of high-waisted shorts, a cute skirt, but mostly wear something comfortable you will be walking around all day and it will most likely be very hot and humid.

Day 3:

Business casual day, most people don’t understand what falls under this category. You can wear anything from khaki capris, to a nice skirt. Dress it all up with a summer top, and flashy jewelry. When you pick your shoes for this day remember that you will be walking for almost a whole day, you might want to choose some cute flats or bring flip flops to wear as you’re walking around and change back into your heels when you get to the houses.

Day 4:

This day is probably my favorite day outfit wise. Sundresses galore! You can wear anything that you would wear to a summertime barbeque. Colorful, bright, and floral are the perfect things to look for in this dress. Jazz up your dress with a colorful bubble necklace, or a jeweled bracelet. Wedges would be the perfect shoes for his summertime outfit.

Day 5:

This night is the most important, you are trying to leave the houses with the best impression of you. Formal dresses and cocktail attire are the way to go, I would go with a classic LBD just to be safe. Dress it up with some blingy jewelry and high as the sky heels.
