The Iowa State men’s track and field team competed at both the Stanford Invitational and Tiger Track Classic during the weekend and turned in a few personal bests along the way.

Mohamed Hrezi was Iowa State’s lone competitor from the men’s team at the Stanford Invitational, running the 10,000-meter run. Hrezi’s performance moved him up to sixth on Iowa State’s all-time records with a personal best of 28:51.88. He placed 19th in his heat.

Henry Kelley set a personal best for the second-consecutive outing in the hammer throw. His mark of 185’07” moved him from ninth into sixth place on Iowa State’s all-time top-10 list in the event, and he placed fifth overall in the competition.

Kevin Poster placed third in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 49’04.25”. Poster has eclipsed the 49-foot mark in both of his outdoor jumps this season.

The Cyclones will continue competition next weekend in Des Moines at Drake Stadium for the Jim Duncan Invitational.
