Final: Iowa State 87, Kansas 79

The Iowa State women (20-9, 9-8 Big 12) gutted out an 87-79 win over Kansas (12-17, 5-12 Big 12) at Phog Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday night.

Five Cyclones finished in double-figures with Nikki Moody leading the way with 18 points and three assists. Hallie Christofferson and Seanna Johnson each finished with 17 points.

Jadda Buckley dished out a team-high seven assists and added 16 points. Brynn Williamson had 10 points and lead the Cyclones with four rebounds. 

Kansas was led by Gardner’s 19 points and 10 rebounds. Four different Jayhawks had 14 or more points and the team out-rebounded the Cyclones 37-21.

Iowa State is now on a three game winning streak for the first time since the team’s 14-0 start. The win moves the Cyclones into sole possession of fifth place in the Big 12.

The Cyclones will wrap up their regular season on Tuesday with their senior night against Baylor.
