The Lowdown 

Iowa State was plagued by poor shooting once again as the Cyclones (14-4, 3-4 Big 12) fell to Oklahoma 75-54 in Hilton Coliseum. The team shot just 31% from the field and went 4-for-26 from 3-point range.

Nikki Moody led the Cyclones with 16 points, four rebounds and five assists. Hallie Christofferson scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds before fouling out with 7:42 left in the game.

Seanna Johnson scored 12 points to go along with seven rebounds, but Jadda Buckley struggled as she finished the game with zero points, one rebound and two assists.

The Cyclones dropped their fourth straight game after starting 14-0 and dropped their third straight game in Hilton.

The Turning Point 

With 10:40 remaining in the game, the Cyclone trailed by only seven points. The Sooners then went on a 12-0 run, capped off by Christofferson’s fifth foul, disqualifying her for the remaining 7:42. The Cyclones never trailed by less than 16 points the remainder of the game.

X-Factor 

Nikki Moody — On a night where the team struggled to shoot, Moody found a way to lead the team with 18 points. Moody also led the team with five assists and pulled down four rebounds.

Despite committing four fouls, Moody was on the floor for 35 minutes and knocked down 5-of-7 free throws.
