ISU women’s cross-country takes 5th at Wisconsin Adidas Invite

The No. 28 ISU women’s cross-country team finished fifth on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational, scoring 235 total team points.

The Cyclones were led once again by sophomore Crystal Nelson, who finished 10th overall with a time of 20:02. Perez Rotich was the second ISU runner to finish, coming in 28th with a time of 20:22.

Bethanie Brown, Katy Moen and Ejiro Okoro were the other three scoring runners for the Cyclones. They came in 32nd, 53rd, and 112th, respectively.

Arizona won the meet, scoring 117 team points.

Iowa State will compete next in the Big 12 Championships in Waco, Texas, on Nov. 2.
