Now that the Holiday season has officially begun, what a great excuse to make tasty treats and make the home smell like, the Holiday! Baking cookies is great for Christmas or any holiday celebration.

As many college students know, working on a limited budget is a common issue everyone can relate too. Don’t let your tight budget prevent you from baking tasty treats. Wow your family and friends with this simple cookie recipe that will make them come back for more.

This budget-friendly recipe only needs four simple ingredients. What makes this even sweeter is that most of these items are sitting in your pantry.

You will need a baking sheet, a measuring cup and a tablespoon. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium size bowl, combine sugar, peanut butter and the egg. Using a tablespoon, shape the mixture into 1 inch balls and place them on a non-stick cookie sheet. If the dough is too sticky, refrigerate for 30 minutes or until it’s easy to handle. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven. While the cookies are still warm, press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. This should make about 18 cookies.
