The ISU soccer team defeated St. Louis 2-0 on Sunday in its final nonconference game before Big 12 play begins.

Senior defender Jessica Reyes recorded an assist as Jennifer Dominguez scored on a header only five minutes into the game. The goal marks her fifth of the season, which is a team-leading mark.

Dominguez contributed again in the second half, this time on an assist to Emily Goldstein’s goal in the 62nd minute. Goldstein is now tied with Erin Green for the third-most goals on the team.

Goalkeeper Maddie Jobe recorded her second-straight shutout, increasing her school-record shutout total to 18 games. It is her third shutout of the season, already matching last season’s total.

The Cyclones now move into conference play with their first Big 12 matchup coming against Texas Tech on Friday. The game will kickoff at 7 p.m. at the Cyclone Soccer Complex.
