Despite a furious comeback in the final minutes, No. 5-seeded Iowa State fell one win short of a berth in the Sweet Sixteen.

No. 4-seeded Georgia defeated the Cyclones, 65-60 Monday night in Spokane, Wash., in the NCAA tournament. Iowa State (24-9, 12-6 Big 12) used a 19-1 run to climb back into the game but the Lady Bulldogs (27-6, 12-4 SEC) responded with two 3-pointers to reclaim the lead and hold on to win.

In the final game of her collegiate career, center Anna Prins tallied 23 points with seven rebounds and three assists. Forward Chelsea Poppens recorded one last double-double as a Cyclone with 14 points and 17 rebounds while shooting 2-of-3 from behind the arc.

Georgia was led by guard Shacobia Barbee who finished the game with 20 points and five rebounds.
