Clyburn earns fourth Big 12 Rookie of the Week honor

For the fourth time this season, ISU basketball player Will Clyburn was named Big 12 Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Sunday. 

In the two games this week, Clyburn averaged 23.5 points per game while also bringing down 7.5 rebounds per game.

In one of Iowa State’s best wins of the season, Clyburn went an efficient 7-10 from the field, scoring 20 points and adding five assists in the 87-76 win. 

Against West Virginia, the Detroit, Mich., native scored a game-high 27 points, notching his seventh 20-point game of the year, while also grabbing 10 rebounds, which gave him his seventh double-double of the year.
