Kristen Hahn just keeps making history.

On Monday, Nov. 12, the ISU junior libero was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week for the seventh time this season, tying a Big 12 record for the most weekly awards in a single season.

Hahn has now won the award each of the past three weeks, which follows a period of four consecutive weeks from Sept. 17 to Oct. 8 when Hahn won the award. She has now won the award 11 times in her career and trails only former ISU libero Ashley Mass (15) in Big 12 history.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, Hahn contributed 23 digs for a 7.67 per set average as Iowa State swept Oklahoma. This season, Hahn is averaging 5.24 digs per set, and has a 5.60 digs per set mark in Big 12 play.

With her performances against the Sooners, Hahn has now surpassed 6.00 digs per set 10 times this season and has had more than 20 digs in 12 of the team’s 23 matches.

Hahn and the Cyclones will return to the court Wednesday at Hilton Coliseum when the team takes on Kansas State. First serve is set for 5 p.m.
