Former ISU offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele will be a Baltimore Raven.

The 6-foot-5, 333-pound Osemele was selected by the Ravens with the No. 60 overall pick during the second round of this week’s 2012 NFL Draft. A first-team All-Big 12 selection in 2011, Osemele started all 13 games for the Cyclones last season.

The Houston native joins a Ravens team that finished the regular season 12-4 and won the AFC North division. The Ravens defeated the Houston Texans 20-13 in the divisional playoffs before falling to the New England Patriots 23-20 in the AFC Championship Game.

Osemele is the fifth former Cyclone to be drafted in the second round, joining wide receiver Otto Stowe (Miami Dolphins in 1971), linebacker Matt Blair (Minnesota Vikings in 1974), nose tackle Mike Stensrud (Houston Oilers in 1979) and offensive lineman Keith Sims (Miami Dolphins in 1990).

No other Cyclones were drafted in rounds four through seven that were announced on Saturday.
