Women’s golf team finished tied for 8th in Clover Cup

The ISU women’s golf finished in a tie for eighth place with Furman at the Notre Dame Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., on March 16-18.

Sophomore Prima Thammaraks led the team, tied for 17th by shooting 70 in the first round, a 76 in the second and a 79 in the final round.

Freshman Chonlada Chayanun finished in 32nd place while shooting 78 in the first round, 79 in the second and a 74 in the final round, which led the team in that round.

Colorado held onto first place with a score of 855, while Iowa State finished with 915.

Iowa State will be traveling to Tuscon, Ariz., to compete in the Mountain View Collegiate tournament on Friday.
