Freshman point guard Nikki Moody was

selected as the Big 12 Freshman of the Week by a media voting

panel. 

Moody was selected for her

performance at the Nugget Classic splitting games against Penn

State and Butler.

She averaged 11.0 points, 3.0

rebounds and 1.5 assists per game over that stretch.

Moody had a particularly good game

against Butler. The ESPN Top 100 recruit was able to connect on

five of seven 3-point shots finishing the night with 15

points.

In her first game against a ranked

opponent in No. 16 Penn State, Moody managed seven points and four

rebounds.
