Cyclones beat No. 25 Oklahoma

The ISU volleyball team beat Oklahoma 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21) on Wednesday night in Norman, Okla.

The No. 13 Cyclones’ (18-4, 9-2 Big 12) victory marked the first home loss of the season for the No. 25 Sooners (19-7, 6-4), who now boast a 13-1 record at McCasland Field House.

Senior outside hitter Carly Jenson led the way offensively for the Cyclones, racking up 25 kills and 16 digs while hitting at a .262 clip.

Middle blockers Jamie Straube and Kelsey Petersen were also in double digits in kills, as Straube collected 16 kills while Petersen had 12 on just 20 attempts.

Five Cyclones were in double digits in digs, led by libero Kristen Hahn, who collected 24 on the night.

The Cyclones will be back in action this Saturday at 4 p.m. when Texas Tech comes to Hilton Coliseum in Ames.
