Iowa State to announce 15th president Tuesday afternoon

The Iowa Board of Regents will convene on Tuesday to interview the two presidential candidates at the Alumni Center. Both candidates, Kumble Subbaswamy and Steven Leath, will be given brief introductions and will present opening statements.

After the presentations at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. by Leath and Subbaswamy, respectively, the board will go into closed sessions and will announce Iowa State’s next president at 4 p.m. in the Campanile room in the Memorial Union.

The Iowa State Daily will host live chats on its website for both of the introductions. A live video feed will be available for the 4 p.m. announcement. Live audio streaming will be available for the open portions of the meeting on the Iowa Board of Regents website.
