Daily reporter hosts ISUtv special about midterm elections

Iowa State Daily reporter Tyler Kingkade will host “Iowa Votes: 2010 Elections,” an ISUtv special program about the midterm elections in Iowa.

The Thursday program will be a round table discussion with Steffen Schmidt, professor of political science; Dave Swenson, staff research economist; Jeremy Freeman of the ISU College Republicans; and Adam Kenworthy, president of the ISU Democrats.

Topics will focus on the governor’s race and the judicial retention campaigns, as well as the U.S. Senate race and some of the state races.

The half-hour program will air at 9 p.m. on channel 18 for Mediacom subscribers, which includes the residence halls. It will also be streamed online at bit.ly/isutvlive.
