James F. Rasmussen, 52, of Ames, was arrested Saturday on a warrant charging him with the attempted murder of Theresa Schlue, 44.

Schlue was attacked Thursday at Deano’s bar, 119 Main St. She suffered several stab wounds and is in critical condition at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Rasmussen is being held in the Story County Jail on $150,000 bond.
