The “ReLationShips from Our Roots” exhibition will open today at 4:30 p.m.

The four artists featured are Iowa State alumni and current design faculty. Each artist will demonstrate a different medium, some of which include multi-media, metal work and encaustic painting among others.

Each artist will present a different theme for his or her work. For example, associate art and design professor, Cindy Gould, will display her multi-media works reflecting her husband’s illness. Though their themes differ, the four exhibitors share a common background and experiences by being ISU alumni and faculty.

The artists will present their work at the Brunnier Art Museum located in the Scheman building from 4:30 — 6 p.m. Thursday.
