Iowa State forward Craig Brackins will try out for the U.S. team set to compete in this summer’s World University Games.

Brackins is one of 15 college players set to compete for 12 roster spots during next month’s team trials in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The World University Games is a 24-team international basketball tournament to be held in Belgrade, Serbia, in early July.

The U.S. team will be coached by Wisconsin’s Bo Ryan.

Other college stars invited to the team trials include Kansas’s Sherron Collins, Ohio State’s Evan Turner and Purdue’s JaJuan Johnson.
