All but one ISU sports team met the NCAA’s Academic Progress Rate standard of 925, according to numbers for 2007-2008 released last Wednesday.

The Academic Progress Rate is a system set in place to measure how teams are performing academically.

The women’s golf team and the wrestling team led with scores of 990 and 977, respectively, but both teams decreased in their rates from the previous year.

Wrestling decreased by two points, while women’s golf decreased by one point.

The only team not to meet the minimum score of 925 was the men’s basketball team, with a score of 877.

However, it was an increase from the previous year’s score of 869.
