ISU student arrested on heroin delivery charges

An ISU student was taken into custody Wednesday by officers from the Central Iowa Drug Task Force on several drug counts, including two counts of delivering heroin.

Task force officers arrested Bryce Alan Arneson, 22, sophomore in open option – liberal arts and sciences, on two counts of delivery of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest came after officers executed a search warrant at 217 Welch Ave. Unit 201, according to a news release.

Arneson is being held on $30,000 bond at the Story County Justice Center.

According to the news release, “The Central Iowa Drug Task Force is continuing its investigation, and more arrests and charges are pending.”
