NPR’s Michele Norris to speak on campus today

Award-winning journalist Michele Norris will speak at Iowa State Friday at 4 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union. Her lecture is titled “Race, Gender and the Future of Leadership in America.”

Norris is the co-host of National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered.” She is the keynote at Iowa State’s Conference on Race and Ethnicity as well the Carrie Chapman Catt Center’s Spring 2009 Mary Louise Smith Chair.

The event is free and open to the public.
