In your article about owning dogs, it was not mentioned that if you walk your dog you need to pick up after it. The City of Ames levies a $50 fine for not picking up after your dog. This applies to parks, lawns and any other areas, either publicly or privately owned. So, please be responsible and pick up after your dog.
