Godsmack comes to Ames

ÿGodsmack arrives in Ames this weekend for one performance at CY Stephens Auditorium on Sunday night.

Current band members are Sully Erna, Tony Rombola, Robbie Merrill and Shannon Larkin.

The three-time Grammy-nominated band, formed in 1995, has released four albums and an acoustic EP since they began, the most recent being “IV” in April 2006, which went on to become a No. 1 on the Billboard 200 list.

Recently, Godsmack released singles “Speak,” “Shine Down” and “The Enemy,” all from the album “IV.”

Sunday’s concert will be Godsmack’s first headlining performance in Ames.
