A hopeful for the Democratic presidential nomination for the 2008 election will be making a stop in Ames on Sunday.

Presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., will be in Ames this weekend to discuss the future of Iraq, according to a press release from the Biden for President campaign.

Biden will be holding a town hall meeting at noon Sunday in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union.

At the meeting, Biden will be explaining how he plans to bring an end to the war in Iraq and his vision for America.

The meeting, which is also being put on by the Story County Democrats, is open to the public.
