The ISU gymnastics team put in a good showing in its first meet of the season.

The No. 20 ranked Cyclones placed first with a score of 195.175 over host Michigan State (194.650), No. 21 West Virginia (189.925) and Western Michigan (188.025).

Iowa State was well represented with at least one Cyclone placing in the top three in each event.
