Cyclone Hockey finished off their weekend series on the road against Ohio, falling again to the Bobcats in a 2-0 game.

The first period proved to be a very strong defensive period as it ended with no score. Both teams got power play chances, but neither capitalized on them.

Ohio’s Bryan Lubin scored for the Bobcats to make the score 1-0 in the second period. Both teams had more power play opportunities, including short 5-on-3 and 4-on-3 chances for the Cyclones. However, the score remained 1-0 at the end of the second period.

Ohio’s Gabe Lampron added another goal with 14:36 left in the third period to make the score 2-0.

The Cyclones pulled senior goaltender Matt Goedeke with less than a minute left in the game while on a power play to make it a 6-on-4 man advantage, but couldn’t capitalize.

The Cyclones will hit the road again next weekend against the University of Illinois.
